Well now going into the swing of a New Wedding Season. Two Weddings this week at Rowton Castle near Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This is our most local venue - only 10 minutes from us! We know and love the venue very much. I have noticed more than any other year that we are getting as many enquiries for 2013 as 2012 at the moment and even 2014. It is never too early to enquire. If you are information gathering - get in touch and I will email you our PDF by return.

We are planning a New Website!

We are planning a new website and I thought it might be an idea to do some market research - if you could email me with any aspects of wedding photography which you would like high lighted or specific things you would like to know about us - we would then include those in the new website. It's early stages yet - any input would be most welcome.

Just a small selection of our recent Weddings at Hagley Hall, Worcestershire; Rowton Castle near Shrewsbury; Fishmore Hall in Ludlow and Goldstone Hall near Market Drayton. Rebecca and Richard above are both in the Navy and it was our first time at Hagley Hall - subterranean nightclub was a surprise at Hagley Hall!

Well we are going into the much more Autumnal weather now and Christmas is on the horizon. Hope your Christmas preparations are going well.

Lovely late afternoon Wedding at The Albright Hussey Manor, Shrewsbury.

Hi Everyone

We enjoyed a late afternoon Wedding at The Albright Hussey Manor last Wednesday for Marianne and Steve. I thought I would just blog the way the Room looked for the Ceremony and the Wedding Breakfast - as it was really very magical. The venue decoration was by Jo at Elegant Finishing Touches [website www.weddingsashes.co.uk] and the Flowers were by Tracey at Hobo Florist. http://www.hoboflorist.co.uk/

The Hussey can accommodate medium to very large Weddings in the Imperial Suite - also smaller more intimate Weddings in the Moat Room. If you are venue searching for your Wedding do check out The Hussey. Spring/Summer Weddings can take place outside in the Garden Room - which again is so romantic.

JUST A LITTLE NOTE.........

Hi Everyone

I have had a few communications with Brides and Grooms lately about our print-ready DVD. We guarantee 700 photos but if we take more you have them. They are optimised and high resolution and can be printed to poster sized - so not limited to a print size of say 10x8. All to be take into consideration when you have a package including a disc of your photos. Just thought I would say. Julia :-)

Civil Partnership at Rowton Castle, Shrewsbury

Hi Everyone - we had the pleasure of photographing Alan and Greg's Civil Partnership at Rowton Castle, near Shrewsbury in October. We had such a fabulous time. They sent us this email below - which we are very chuffed about!

Hi Martin and Julia

We received the disc of photos on Friday and spent the evening looking at them, all we can say is WOW, they truly are wonderful. Thank you so very much for all your hard work on the day and the work in putting the discs together. You truly get two different perspectives of the day. Now looking at the photos we have remembered aspects of the day that we could not remember. Looking at the photos we laughed and cried and they truly made us very emotional. Julia you were right when you said that they radiate happiness. We honestly cannot thank you enough for our photos.

Please continue to do what you guys do best and make other couples dreams come true with your truly wonderful work. We cannot speak more highly of your wonderful service you gave to us and hope that you enjoyed your first civil partnership.

Hi Everyone

Autumn is upon us and it was a little chilly this morning! We have a Wedding at Rowton Castle near Shrewsbury, Shropshire on Friday - I think we will have some sun looking at the Met Office. We live 10 mins from this lovely venue - we have the pleasure of being there quite a lot in 2012 which is lovely!
